The decomposed body of a 28-year-old woman was found in the box for spare tyre of a school bus which had been parked in an empty ground near police station for the last three days, India.
The woman, Priya, 28, had been living with her aunt in Gurgaon for the past month. She had taken up work as a helper at a PG accommodation a few days ago.
"For the past three days the bus was parked at a deserted spot in Sector-5. The driver, Rajan Singh, lives in Gurgaon village and always parks here," the investigating officer said.
On Wednesday, when he was taking the bus to school, it broke down on the way.
He stumbled upon the body in the box for spare tyre while trying to locate the snag.
The bus ferries students of Shalom Hills International School in Sushant Lok, but is owned by a private vendor. School authorities, however, said they had nothing to do with the incident.
"We are waiting for the postmortem report to determine the exact cause of death," said Alok Mittal, commissioner of police, Gurgaon.
